In this article, I will tell you how to create a Survey Form using the WPForms.
Install WPForms
The first step is to install and activate the WPForms WordPress plugin.
NOTE- WPForms is a free plugin, but if you want to use the premium features, then you can purchase the premium version of WPForms.
WPForms supports various addons for the premium plugin, and for creating a survey, we will install the WordPress survey and Polls Addon.
Create a Survey
Once you installed the WPForms plugin, navigate to WPForms » Addons and search for the Surveys and Polls Addon.
Install the Addon and activate it.
Now, you are ready to create a Survey using WPForms.
Navigate to WPForms » Add New
WPForms has many predefined forms templates, you have to choose the Survey Forms.
Now, you will get form editor with predefined fields.
Please note that this form is highly customizable. You can customize it as per your need.
If you want to change any fields, you will have to click on that field and get the editor to the left-hand side.
You can remove and add the fields from the left side panel. WPForms supports all types of fields.
WPForms supports the conditional logic by using which you can personalize the survey questions based on the user inputs.
You can add the fields you want, and once you are satisfied with your form, you can save the forms.
Add Survey Form To Your Website
Now, its time to publish your Survey Forms to your website.
You can directly add your survey forms to pages, posts. You can click on Add Forms from the editor and choose the survey form you created above.
Once you complete the post, publish it. Your form will look like this.
Also, you can add your Survey Forms as widgets wherever your theme supports.
You just have to navigate to Appearance » Widgets and add the WPForms widgets.
Viewing Survey Results
If you have to view the survey results, then WPForms provides charts and graphs to view results.
You can view the survey results in the WPForms dashboard, navigate to WPForms » All Forms.
You will see the survey results in charts and tables format. You can view the results in different views. You can switch between different views.
You can also save each survey results in JPEG, PDF and print formats.
WPForms allows us to create any forms as survey forms so that you can access all forms of data in a single place.
To make any form as a survey form, navigate to forms Settings » Surveys and Polls and check the Enable Survey Reporting box.
