WordPress plugins are used to reduce manual work on your website. There are free and paid plugins available in the WordPress store.

In this tutorial, I am going to tell you the essential WordPress plugins that you can try on your website.

Yoast SEO- The must-have WordPress SEO plugin. It is a complete bundle of SEO packages. It is available in the WordPress directory free as well as the paid version.

W3 Total Cache- The best caching WordPress plugin. It provides inbuilt CDN which helps your blog to load faster.

Akismet- This is an anti-spam plugin. It prevents websites from spammers. This plugin automatically detects every spam comment and filter out the spam comment and move to the spam category.

UpdraftPlus Backup/Restore- The WordPress backup plugin necessary to take a backup of your blog on daily basis. We can configure this plugin with any cloud storage like Google Drive, One Drive, Dropbox, etc and it will automatically store a backup of your blog.

OptinMonster– It is an email marketing plugin, we can grow an email list rapidly by using OptinMonster. This is a paid WordPress plugin.

WP-Sweep- This plugin is helpful to clean all the unused and duplicate data from your WordPress database. Unused data contains revision, auto draft, unapproved/spam/trashed/orphan comments. It is used to optimize the WordPress database.

WP-Smush- The best image cmpression plugin. The free version of this plugin will enable you to compress 50 images at a time. If you want to increase the limit, then you have to upgrade it to premium.

WPForms– This WordPress plugin allows you to create different types of form which you can use throughout the blog by using shortcodes.

Redirection– This plugin is helpful to redirect any broken URL to the new one directly from the dashboard.

Broken Link Checker– This plugin will find out all the broken links in your blog.

Code Snippet- This plugin will help you to add the WordPress code(php).

Fancier Author Box- If you are looking for lightweight author box, then this plugin will help you to generate one.

OneSignal Push Notifications– Send the push notification to subscribers.

ThirstyAffiliates- This plugin lets you manage all your affiliate links and check the stats.

WPS Hide Login- This plugin will help you to hide the WordPress login URL.

  1. Thanks for this informaton about the wordpress plugins which required more any new wordpress blog. I am using SEO By Yoast, WP-Smush, Jetpack.
