WPForms is a free WordPress form plugin. You can create different forms like donation forms, multi-page forms, order forms. Also, WPForms supports payment gateways like Stripe and PayPal, by which you can easily accept the payment.
WPForms has introduced the Zapier addon by which you can connect your WordPress forms with 2000+ apps.
This article will explain how we can connect the Zapier addon to WPForms and automate the different tasks using it.
NOTE- WPForms is a free WordPress plugin, but if you want to use the Zapier addon, you need to purchase the pro license of WPForms.
Install And Activate WPForms
The first step is to purchase the WPForms pro and activate it.
Once activated, go to WPForms » Settings and click on the Integrations.
You will see the Zapier integration, expand it and there you will get the Zapier API key for your site.
It would be best to have this API key in your Zapier account to connect WPForms with Zapier. So don’t close this window.
Nows, let’s start connecting WPForms to Zapier.
Create Zap In Zapier
Log in to your Zapier account. If you don’t have an account, then you can create the Zapier account.
You have to connect the WPForms app to Zapier. For this, we need to create the Zap.
Once login to Zapier account, to create the Zap, click on the black + sign. This will open the setup page for app integration.
You will have to search the WPForms in the Choose App & Event search box and click on the WPForms app.
Once select the WPForms, then you will have to Choose Trigger Event here. We can select New Form Entry.
On the next screen, you will need to connect the WPForms and Zapier. For this, log in to your WPForms account.
If you click the sign-in to WPForms, you need to put the API key. You will get the API key from the WordPress dashboard. We kept the window open for API Key in the first step.
Enter the API key and website address.
Click on the Continue.
Now, Zapier will allow you to choose the WPForms account.
In the next step, you will have to choose the form on which you are going to perform the operations.
The last step for this integration is to Find data.
To test this integration, we can click on the Test & Continue or the Test & Review. This will pull some of the sample entries for validating the integration.
If you have Test & Review, you should see your form entries populate, and you can validate the entries. Finally, click the Done Editing button.
If you have chosen the Test and Continue, Zapier will automatically take you to the next step if everything is working properly.

The next step is to process the WordPress forms data in Zapier. This action depends on the requirements.
Zapier is a free tool for 5 Zaps, but if you are a business, you can upgrade your Zapier account to create more Zaps to automate your business flow.
