In this article, I am going to tell you about online order forms. Let’s start with the tutorial.
Create a Simple Order Form
The first thing you need to install and activate the WPForms WordPress plugin.
NOTE- You need to have the premium version of WPForms to create the online order forms.
Now, go to WPForms » Add New to create the new form.
You will see the many predefined forms templates, here we are creating the order form, so we will choose the Billing/Order Forms template. You can also give the name of the form to recognize it.
Once you select the order form, you will get the design screen with some predefined fields in the forms.
Now, you have to modify or add the fields as per your requirement. Just click on the field you want to change, and from the left side panel, you can edit the field.
If you want to give people images to choose from when filling out your online order form, then you can check the Use image choices box.
Once you enable the use images option, you can upload the images alongside the items to get the visual of what they are ordering.
Also, if you want, you can drag and drop the fields from the left-hand side panel and make your order form.
Click save once you finished customizing your order form.
Configure Your Form Notifications
By default, Notification is enabled on forms. When the user orders something, you will receive the email confirmation for the same. You can manage all notifications settings from Notification.
You can turn off the notifications as well, but it is recommended to enable the notifications.
You can customize the notification email to be more specific. You can update the fields to get the personalised notification when the order is placed.
Configure The Form Confirmation
The confirmation message will display when the user submits the donation. This is to let the users know that the intended person has successfully received the donation, and also, we can show them the next steps.
To add the confirmation, you can navigate to Confirmation user the Settings tab.
WPForms has three confirmations types.
Message- This is a default confirmation type in WPForms. You can customize the message which will display to the users.
Show Page- In this type of confirmation, we can show the particular page to the users when the donation is made.
Go to URL(Redirect)- In this type, you will send the user to the new website.
The default message is sufficient, but if you would like to show the new page more information about thanking the users, you can choose the show page option.
Configure the Payment Settings
This is the last step, where you have to set up the payment mode. WPForms supports PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.net payment methods.
You need to install and activate the suitable payment addon for your order forms. I have written a few articles about integrating Stripe, PayPal in WPForms forms. So you can check it out.

In this example, I will show you how to integrate with PayPal.
First, click the Payments tab in the Form Editor and select PayPal.
Once you click PayPal, you will have to add the PayPal details of your account, like your email address.
Also, set the mode as production, Payment Type as product and services etc.

Once you are done with all configurations, save the form.
Add Order Form to Your Site
WordPress allows you to add the donation form in pages, posts, widgets, etc. To add the order form, create a page or post and in the editor, click on the + sign and search for WPForms.
Thats it. You have created the order form for your business.
