There is no rocket science for choosing the blog niche, but let me ask you a few questions, and when you answer it, you will get your blog niche.
- Which pages, groups you liked or followed most on social media?
- When you open YouTube, then what types of videos do you watch?
- On what topics do you want to have a discussion?
If you answer all the above questions, you will get one common category. You can also call it your interest area. Then, you can take that topic and start writing about it.
If you are starting your blog for earning money, then you would have to consider another factor while choosing a blog niche which is a profitable niche.
Now, what is the profitable niche?
The niche in which you will get many products and services for promoting on your blogs like blogging niche.
In the blogging niche, you can promote web hosting, domain registrar, and other website-related stuff, which I think is most profitable.

The first step is to set up a domain name. If you have purchased from another registrar, then you can use it. Otherwise, you can purchase it from the GreenGeeks setup screen as well(refer below screenshot).
The next step is to fill the details about you.
Once you finish the details, you will redirected to the GreenGeeks dashboard.
From the GreenGeeks dashboard, you will get few options, if you are new then you can click on Start New Website.
You can select your choice of app to be installed on your hosting. For this tutorial, we are going to install WordPress.
On the next screen, you will have to choose the theme for your website. You can later change it.
If you want to install premium themes, then I would recommend you GeneratePress and Astra. We are using GeneratePress for all our blogs.
Now, click on next, and the setup is complete.
